Shwe Inn Tha Floating Resort

Shwe Inn Tha is a charming, upper mid-class hotel built in a unique style on stilts, showcasing typical local architecture and original materials. One of the best hotels on the lake with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, it is located amid the beautiful lake scenery, not far from Phaung Daw Oo Temple. This is the only resort to have a swimming pool on the lake.

Location

In the middle of Inle Lake near Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. 50 minutes by boat from Nyaung Shwe.

Rooms

The Superior and Deluxe Cottages as well as one Junior Suite are all constructed on stilts. All rooms are built in a unique design and tastefully decorated with local arts and crafts. Large windows open up to the lake and a private veranda with lounge chairs that invite guests to relax. All the bungalows have the following amenities such as A/C, satellite TV and mini bar. The 18 Superior rooms (47 sqm) feature showers only, while the 17 Deluxe rooms are of the same size but also offer bathtubs. The Junior Suite is larger (88 sqm) and offers a small kitchenette and a living room.
