The Sanctuary Ananda is named after the beautiful Ananda Temple in Bagan (Ananda translates in Sanskrit as extreme happiness). Step aboard this beautiful vessel and be transportedinto a world of luxury. Sanctuary Ananda will take you on one of the most incredible journeys through this fascinating country where you will experience the peacefulness and beauty of life on the river. She is custom built for Myanmar Rivers by local shipbuilders using age-old knowledge and traditional materials while at the same time incorporating the most modern technology into the design and facilities. The spacious vessel is spread across four decks and will have 20 beautiful suites all with private balcony and
a spectacular Aloungpayah suite. Various cruise itineraries will be available offering you the opportunity to discover the great rivers of Myanmar, not to be missed temples, pagodas, palaces, and monasteries along the way, as well as, memorable visits to smaller handicraft making villages allowing for close friendly interactions with the local community. Sanctuary Ananda will commence sailing in late 2014.
