Myanmar Treasure Inle Resort
This charming, tastefully decorated and recently refurbished upper mid range bungalow resort built entirely on stilts over the Inle Lake boasts friendly service and good value. Treasure Inle Resort is a typical Treasure group hotel, well maintained and encountering decor that balances Myanmar tradition, simplicity and nature similarly exhibited by its sister hotels in Bagan and Ngwe Saung.
Location
Built on stilts over Inle Lake close to the eastern shore. 30 minutes by boat from Nyaung Shwe.
Rooms
All the 49 rooms are built in private bungalows on stilts over the water in traditional Myanmar style. All have full amenities, including satellite TV, telephone, bathtub, hair dryer and mini bar. The 48 Deluxe rooms are very spacious (70 sqm) and have a veranda with either garden, mountain or lake views as the resorts form a semi circle. The rooms have a portable heating system during the winter months. The Suite (80 sqm) is even larger than the deluxe room, with a spectacular lake view, private Jacuzzi and fixed heating system.
