Ayar River View Hotel
This recently renovated hotel offers a friendly atmosphere. Built in the traditional Myanmar style on the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River, this is a pleasant midrange hotel.
Location:
On the riverfront of Old Bagan, near historical pagoda sites. 10 minutes drive from the airport and close to the main jetty.
Rooms:
The rooms are constructed in the traditional Myanmar style and all offer full amenities including satellite TV, telephone, A/C, mini-bar, IDD Telephone, bathtub and private veranda.
The Superior rooms, Junior Suites and Aye Yar Suites are located in the older 2-storey main building whereas the new Deluxe Suites and Aye Yar Suite are built in a garden setting in chalet type buildings containing 2 guest rooms in each.
The 24 superior rooms (40 sqm) are stylishly decorated and offer Garden Views with the above mentioned amenities. The 13 Junior Suites are of the same size but offer River Views. The 16 Deluxe Suite rooms are larger (60 sqm) and built bungalow style (one bungalow is shared by two rooms) and also boasts a river view. A fruit basket is also provided in the Deluxe room.
The Aye Yar Suite room is the most spacious, measuring 75 sqm, and also offers a river view.
