In this camp, elephant riding in the forest at mountain range, watching the elephant shows and study of the demonstrations of logging with elephants can be made.In addition, one can also trek in the forest at mountain range. Besides teak forest, plant, butterfly, and life of the elephant keepers (mahouts) and local people can be observed in this Myanmar ecotourism. Recommend to visit all the year round but the best time for bird watching is form October to May.

Detailed Itinerary
DAY 1 > YANGON - TAUNGOO
Leave Yangon at 5:00 a.m. early in the morning, drive to Taungoo about 170 miles/ 6 hours drive away from Yangon. Have breakfast at a local café on the way and have lunch in Taungoo and proceed off-road driving (2 hr) to Karen village. Visit Karen village and study old Karen tradition and learn how they have to struggle to survive in the jungle. Then drive to elephant camp (1 hr) and overnight at the camp (real working camps).
DAY 2 > TAUNGGOO
Get up early in the morning and follow the elephant master (OoZi) to chase his elephant which was freed in to the jungle for the whole night and learn how elephants are working for the logging process. Have lunch and drive back (3 hr) to Taungoo. Then drive back to Yangon and have dinner at a local restaurant on the way back. We will arrive to Yangon in the late evening.
Our tour includes
Accommodation (school or monastery type with beds on floor in a hall and common toilet) and transport (air conditioned vehicle for Yangon-Taungoo-Yangon portion and four wheel drive vehicle in jungle),guiding fees, entrance fees, elephant fees and meals.
